Grains – Why are they so bad?

When I use the word “Grains” I am actually referring to a lot of different foods, but mostly I mean wheat. Other grain foods include but are not limited to:

Wheat
Spelt
Wheat germ/Wheat bran
Graham flour
Barley
Rye
Couscous
Oats
Durum

What do all these foods have in common and why are they so nasty for you? The common denominator is GLUTEN.

Gluten is a substance that can literally rip apart your intestinal lining, cause inflammation and is a Huge contributor to your Leaky Gut? Once your Leaky Gut becomes a problem it is very difficult to lose weight or keep weight off.

Besides causing Leaky Gut Syndrome, Gluten (more specifically wheat) causes a big insulin response after ingestion. In fact, it can actually cause a bigger insulin response than eating plain ol’ sugar. When you have a big insulin response due to eating whet, your body will be in a roller coaster mode of insulin vs. glucose. What exactly does this mean? Well, it means weight gain, decreased muscle mass, fat storage, and an overall feeling of bloating and feeling overweight.

My whole mission in life has revolved around losing weight, getting rid of leaky gut and showing people how feel their best. These problems as well as many other symptoms people have always come down to curing their leaky gut.

The first thing you have to do in order to fix yourself is get off the Gluten. Today. Right Now! It’s not the easiest food addiction to get out of your life and out of your body, but it can be done if you do it right.
